Currently in the system are accredited about 300 centres, between university departments and research private centres.The data are supplied form the centres and requirements, answering questions of a questionnaire drawn up by a scinetific committee.

The collection of informations
To the Centres are asked questions relating to their tipology (legal form), the work carried out (sector of belonging), to the service offered, the collaborations, structures, to the staff, in short, all the informtations that may be useful to Lombardia for understanding size, quality and state of research and technology transfer on its territory.
Public and private centres
CRTT may be public or private. As seen from the image in the top right, in Questio dominate the public CRTT. In the first category there are university departments (for decision of the MIUR each department is a researche centre), the consortium, universities and non foundations, public researche party. Of the research centres are part also services centres to business (in almost all) and the R&D business centres. |
Distribution of CRTT for sector
In QuESTIO are calassified seven scientific technological areas. The classification used is that of the system ISI for the classification of scientific journal. Because of many centres perform activities across several sectors, it was given the possibility to indiacte a maximum of 5 sectors of reference. The table to hand, so, has to be read inthis way: the sector " Clinical Medicine", for example, collects xx centres, of these 15 paly activities also in the field Agriculture, Biology and Natural Sciences, 23 in the field ....
